I might have to try to go to this next year.  I'm not a Funko person but so many of you so it's so much fun.  I also talked to a couple of people in the Purge line about it and they said they sold off their Funko mashup pops they got at it on ebay overnight for $425 which more than pays for the cost of the event.

Good luck on trying to go. Tickets sell out in 15 seconds or less. This isn’t some random lottery either. Half the people that go are big name vendors or people that have been on the funatics forum for years leaving the rest for everyone else. You and everyone else that wants to go that’s a first timer probably has a 10 percent or less chance of snugging a ticket.

I went for the first time since 2013 and was very pleasantly surprised. I touched on this in the best-of topic, but the days when Brian Mariotti primed people to jump up and down on chairs and tables and scream like banshees and passed that off as entertainment are over; instead, that was replaced by actual entertainment for everyone (a big stage in the middle with acrobats, GID jugglers, fashion show, etc.) Prize giveaway was much more equitable (everyone got some prizes prize, every section got a unique prize, and there were some lucky few who got a big prize) rather than them playing favorites and/or throwing boxes into the audience (t-shirts were still thrown, but they hurt a lot less and t-shirts also don't cause entire tables to dive). It was a lot bigger than last time, but infinitely better managed and more enjoyable all around. Major props to Funko for what they've done with it.

I know funko can’t prevent the notorious flipping that happens while at fundays but I hope people that are attending just for the purpose of flipping never get lucky in getting tickets as some have posted on here.
