Looks like WonderCon has implemented a point system for the number of drawings you can enter per day. The bad: a limit to the number of signings you can enter The good: you can enter one drawing multiple times until your point allotment is spent! You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
I wonder whst happens when no one or very little people put in points for a non popular signing then? If SDCC does something similar and does another signing for say a show like Krypton, I bet mlst will be putiing in points on Cw shows amd movie signings.
Last year, after the Saturday wristbands were given out at the WB dispensing booth, we asked the WB people if they would be willing to give us the non-claimed wristbands and they said no. So if they still follow that procedure, they'll just have less people in line for certain signings. Though I can't imagine with 100K+ CC attendees that they won't have enough fans to sign up for each signing.
Was it a "Show's over, folks" type deal where the signers were just escorted out?
They let extras come through if time permits at WC.This year at SDCC if WB continues with this I endorse a riot. Well not so much a riot as much as a stink raising if they don't at least let you say hi to the stars.
That was the crucial problem last year by not having a decline button or penalty for not picking up your winning wristband. Some WB signings only lasted 10 minutes instead of 30-60 due to the amount of winners not attending. Such a shame for fans who would've loved to have the chance.
for what its worth the dc autograph line had non wristbanded people lined up right after the wristband people. when I came up to join the line for the aquaman signing I was placed at what looked like the middle of the line but in reality the line people knew what guy started the non-wristbanders so as signing winners came up she just placed them in front of him. it seemed like chaos but they handled it well. I'm not sure if any of the overflow got to go through but when the lady behind me asked the dc line man at the front of line if he thought any of them would get through (she had a nephew back there) he said he was really hoping to get some in. he basically said he gets the cast for a very limited time but he was going to push as many people through as possible. it was an absolute circus around that booth but I feel like they handled very well so it would be nice if the wb could do the same
Personally I only entered drawings for properties I like.
