This is an intensive two-hour course: attendees will write a rough draft of key comic book agreement provisions, engage in client interview exercises tailored to the comic book industry, dive into mock negotiations, and issue-spot common problems in publishing contracts. Facilitated by seasoned comic book publishing attorneys, attendees will get a chance to issue-spot, draft, and engage in mock negotiations.

Legion M executives David Baxter and Clare King will reveal how the production company is involved with upcoming dramady Nandor Fodor and the Talking Mongoose (starring Simon Pegg, Minnie Driver, Christoper Lloyd), thriller Mary’s Monster (Starring Kit Harington, Johnny Lee Miller, Clara Ruugard), and an Untitled William Shatner documentary by Alexandre O. Philippe (People V. Race Gender & the Comic Book Medium is their ongoing panel discussion series that focuses on equity sustainability and justice when it comes to representation in the multimedia industry. In celebration of WinC's 10 Year anniversary the panelists will discuss how the industry has evolved since the organization's creation.

The Cosplay Showcase is where fans and cosplayers can showcase their craftsmanship in style. This event is open to all cosplayers and is an opportunity for fans of all levels to strut their stuff in their costumes. The Cosplay Showcase will take place on Sunday. There are prizes (for people 18+ only) but cosplayers are free to take part just for fun if they do not wish to be judged. Family Groups and Juniors (13-17) are welcome to take part. Learn about portfolios  building a relationship with an editor  submissions  professionalism  and what it takes to make it as an editor.  Why this panel? Every year the industry evolves. Creators need to know what works now  so that they can prepare their portfolios and pitches for editors. Breaking into comics is incredibly difficult  and editors rarely review portfolios at the booth anymore. This gives the audience intelligent  honest  and actionable information about breaking into comics.
