It's a typo I think. I'm guessing it should say 2 people
I can’t tell you who my sources are or who I am. But when I post something like this, it’s accurate. I was however starting to lose faith. I knew the April 11 date. But couldn’t believe onpeak would only give everyone two days.
Out of curiosity, what happened with Pendry last year that people feel that its a waste of slots this year? Sorry, first time SDCC attendee here
[member=8556]d00dz[/member] - As far as we could tell not one person received a room from the lottery at the Pendry. It was a frustrating turn of events for those who in effect, wasted one of their picks on a hotel that turned out to be unavailable. And if I remember correctly, it never even showed up as available in the days leading up to SDCC.
Oh that's horrible. It sucks to hear that.Thank you for taking the time to explain to me. Looks like its one off my list!
Some people have reported addresses being an issue, but I haven't experienced that myself. For me, I once got flagged as a duplicate based on first and last name. I responded to the email stating that I was different from the other person with the super common anglo-saxon name and it was fine. But yes, names will flag it as a duplicate for sure.
Well, like I said, I use different IPs mainly out of paranoia, and also because like others have said, we simply do not know how OnPeak detects duplicate entries nor what they consider duplicates. It could be as basic as phone number, or it could be IP addresses or email addresses or physical addresses or some combination. So to answer your question, no one knows for 100% certainty if it is an issue or not. If I had to guess, it's not an issue, but I wouldn't bet my savings on it.
