If we have hotels to give away but the reservation was originally for 2 rooms, can we give it to someone who only wants one room? Not sure if you can decline the 2nd room if its in the original request.

So when does OnPeak open up their site for reservations of whatever leftover hotel rooms are available? What will be the link to it?

On their website, it says May 6th. They usually send out a link to the people who checked the waitlist box.

Ugh, got in around 09:01:30, received a hotel in mission valley.

Was hoping for a second dt hotel because our group is large enough for 2 rooms

I got in under a minute and received a Mission Valley assignment as well. Bummer!

Just got my email. Got Wyndam Bayside. Wasn't on my list, but I'm happy to be close to Downtown and right next to the Trolley station.

Got access to the form a little after 9:03a

Hotels will open for direct booking in May, I believe. It will likely be mission Valley, but you will be able to get a hotel.

My E-mail came at 3:20 PM ET.

I was an early 4-minute person and I got two rooms at the Wyndham Bayside.  On the downtown list, but 1.7 miles away.  Wasn't in my top 6.

I already have MGH from a kind forum person.

Yes. Once someone logs in to the reservation there is an option to "throw away" the second room (it's a little trash can icon).

Boom! MGH, double room!! Delighted with that; very nice to relieve the stress, and as a Man United fan I intend to wear one of their jerseys when I check-in  ;D

I was in at 1:09, and had MGH down as (I think) sixth choice, behind: Bayfront, 2 Embassy options, MMM and Omni - I think that was the final order, I changed it just before submitting as I had a better time than last year so took a chance. I also marked the “disregard” option - maybe that could be a factor, who knows with this process.

Is it the “World of Hyatt” loyalty programme I should join for this booking?

I assume 1:09 is 9:09am PST? If so, how the heck?! I mean, congrats to you, but that just seems so bizarre!

Nothing about this OnPeak makes any sense. 9:00, 9:07, etc. Time is apparently just a construct to them.
