That Andaz shower has me alternating between moments of laughter and moments of sheer horror. Please tell me that the toilet isn't set up like that as well... ???

What if you have problems with #2 in a public bathroom? I had a roommate like that once (yes, an actual other person-it is not code for me-I don't have a problem with it)

LOL, and when I first read it, I though-I hope they mean the lobby bathroom and not the actual lobby! :P
(I did know what you meant, but it's been a long day...)

I don't get this......WHY???????????????????????? Why in the HELL would any hotel do this?!?!?! And why is it a thing in several hotels??
On one of their room descriptions, it is listed as an amenity. What the what??

This thread is so funny (along with being useful)

Ramada Inn Gaslamp. One of my first times going to comic con when i JUST went to enter card tournaments... (and you didnt need to buy your badge ahead of time)
Trying to fit 6 (on the large side) people into that room with one bed was... a mistake lol.

I actually think it's a cool concept. Remember most of these 'upscale' hotels are not meant for room share with strangers or even friends especially a one bed room. We stayed at the Marriot Gaslamp last year, and my friend had just gotten a stomach virus O_o She had to go down to the lobby bathroom every time to do her business.

Yikes. Yeah, that's probably an amenity for a vacation or couple but not strangers rooming together.

Judging by some earlier comments in the thread, probably not a good idea to try and take a nap in the lobby.

If you have a psychiatric background like me, that could mean the lobby but yes, just the lobby bathroom.  :P

Yeah, no. The last thing my wife needs to see is me scrubbing my buttcrack while we are on vacation. I want to stay married.

i was looking on the Andez site- and those glass showers seem to only be in their upper tier rooms.  the lower tier rooms with 2 beds seem to have a closed off showers & tolite.  I'm doing the research because its' my back up hotel & I will likely be traveling with kids who are obnoxious about their privacy-

hahah! I think if I wasn't sharing with the BF and the BFF I might make that pact too. We all know too much about each other already though.
