It’s on the backside of the convention center. Inside. If you know where the area is that you can look out onto the exhibit floor from above. We usually get on line somewhere around there. It lets in at the doors near the middle of the exhibit floor on the back wall.

Reading that back to myself, I’m not sure it’s very clear but I don’t really know how else to explain it.

That actually makes total sense, and know exactly where you’re referring to.

To get there on Preview Night, does security allow Pros to enter that area via the rear staircase behind Sails?  Or do you just walk through the front doors of the convention center, display your pro badge, and staff knows where to direct you?

We usually go down the rear stairs next to Sails.

Thanks Brian!  But to even get to that point where you're descending the stairs behind Sails, are you initially entering into the Convention Center in the front?

Dude, everyone enters through Sails unless everyone in line has been let in, then they open the front doors. There is no entering anywhere else. Period.

Incorrect.  Everyone definitely does not enter upstairs into and through Sails Pavilion on Preview Night.

Case in point: the ADA line that forms on Wednesday remains downstairs and is escorted over the the exhibit hall doors near Sections C/D.

I'm simply a first-time pro, asking first-timer questions...thank you for your patience and understanding.

Thanks for the heads up Sam. I have merged this topic ("To Pro, or Not to Pro...") with the existing thread "Pros/Cons of a Professional Badge?"

Yeah, in through the front, up the escalators and through to the other side of sails. I don't know that you can get in on the bay side before the floor opens on preview night.
