As we're nearing the big holiday for most of us, I want to take this moment to wish everyone a happy, peaceful, relaxing holiday. Perhaps i run counter to the consumerism culture but in my humble opinion it's more important to enjoy family and friends then set a perfect table or buy an expensive gift. In other words, we here at the forum encourage our members to roll with the ups and downs and don't sweat the small stuff. 'Uncle George' is always going to have different political opinions but he's still a good person (i hope) and 'Aunt Martha' will be judgemental -- hopefully you can tease and jolly her into smiling just once.
This season is hard for us introverted nerds/geeks; pace yourself, take timeouts with buddy family members & above all let stuff roll off -don't hold onto words that are hurtful. Those mean words are not who you are. Besides, our Christmas is in July anyway
