There is currently a Groupon that gives 50% off 1 or 2 day regular passes or a 2 day VIP pass. Thanks to [member=2143]TheOtherMel[/member] for mentioning this during the fantasy football draft!

I'm confused... is this the same as the Walker Stalker con that will be in the SJ Convention Center Dec. 1-2? I already have tickets for that event...

Looks like it's the same show. Weird that they have 2 different portals for it.

It says this on the website.
Fan Fest events let attendees embrace their darker side and immerse themselves in the horror and sci-fi shows they love. Having Walker Stalker across the hall from Heroes & Villains offers a whole other fandom to engage with, for the price of one ticket.
-
Wow, I totally blew past that!
When they mean right across the hall for the other convention, is it that big hall with the stage or something else?

Not sure. Maybe one is in the exhibit hall and one is in the big panel room across the way?
-
Maybe they're on opposite sides of the Exhibit Hall

I attended this con over the weekend and wrote up my review here.
https://www.friendsofcc.com/2018/12/02/walker-stalker-san-jose-new-venue-better-experience/
It was a combined event. They used the entire exhibit hall, although a good portion of it was for photo ops and autographs. There was one large panel room, as well as a small 'Live' stage in the middle of the exhibit hall. While there was some stuff for Flash/Arrow fans, if you weren't there for Walking Dead, you were probably disappointed (unless your tickets were really cheap, such as with the Groupon deal).
For TWD fans, this was a huge improvement over the Walker Stalker event at Fort Mason in San Francisco in 2017, mostly because of the venue.

Thanks for the writeup! Glad to see they added a separate panel room. I haven't been to HVF in a few years (and not ever to a Walker Stalker). I didn't go this year but I was wondering why HVF/WS were advertised separately. One of my friends bought two tickets because she thought you needed a separate ticket for each, lol. :X (It was on one of the groupon/black friday deals though, so she didn't waste too much.)
