Indeed, it is.
i am stunned. i dont know what to say. bizarre...... cool?weird?this is what makes it exclusive? if it is then to utilize it you have to take it out of the box haha. my favorite part of the gi joe sdcc figures was the old school artwork on the cards. this is just strange. i assume its "awesome" to some? sounds cool but out of nowhere. again stunned. did i mention stunned ?
So just one clarification on the $110 Rey/Kylo set. This is in the Hasbro 'Centerpiece' line. That line of products from Hasbro are less toys and as the name suggests more of a centerpiece. The bases usually light up etc. Other Centerpiece sets have ranged in the $40-$50 range but you also get 2 figures here and it is a convention exclusive. Just wanted to give a bit of clarity fwiw
A Centerpiece is an interesting exclusive pick, since the Kylo, Luke and Vader entries in that line are "shelfwarming" at places like HTS, HTS eBay and any TRU that remains open.
never really thought about it like that since i dont collect black series except for even thinking about it for sdcc exclusives. the thrawn is AWESOME. is it considered a centerpiece ? it's not right ?and its exclusive. i am not a big fan of early release but coming later.

This year, G.I. JoeCon will wrap up after more than two decades of bringing fans together. Originally, G.I. JoeCon was supposed to end in 2016, as Hasbro is looking at combining all of the shows (G.I. JoeCon and BotCon), and all of their properties into one annual show called HasCon, which took place for its first year in September 2017 in Rhode Island. You can check out the coverage of that show HERE, as well as some toy coverage.HasCon will not take place in 2018, and will instead resume in 2019. As this is the last G.I. JoeCon, we expect some big announcements during the Hasbro panel that Derryl Depriest will (hopefully) be announcing on Saturday. We will have an exclusive video interview with Derryl on Friday late afternoon and will do our best to go over everything, including G.I. Joe, HasCon, and everything else we can think of with him. If you have questions of your very own, leave them in our comments below before Friday 2pm EST.G.I. JoeCon will take place this week/weekend in Chattanooga, TN on June 21st-24th.
