i've been hearing about a big shake up at RP but that FB post by Jim doesn't sound as tho there's any bad blood between them.

Kind of anxious to see what this means for ECCC. Demonakos has made ECCC into a highly respected, ginormous local show. For a couple years it looks like it was going to break through and become a national player, but it hasn't so far, not even under ReedPop. The optimist in me says that without Demonakos, ReedPop might finally push it towards becoming a NYCC-West. We saw baby steps in that direction this year. The pessimist in me says ReedPop will revert it back to a generic location NYCC-Lite a la 2016. Or, maybe they'll just keep it in a holding pattern.

This last year was one of the best but I'll admit that I don't look forward to it as much as I used to. I've gone every year since 2012 but it may not be an annual thing for me for too much longer. I don't think I'm done with ECCC completely, though.
