While obsessing if my time is good enough, I came across this. Interesting breakdown of how waiting room works, and estimated times needed to get a downtown hotel. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Very interesting! Glad someone did this.

I keep refreshing the thread, almost as if it would make time go by faster or make them send the emails out early.

I'm officially going crazy.

At least you aren't taking a 4 hour exam during the results lol
Oh no, good luck with your exam! Maybe you will hear back before then and not have to think about it :)

I think a lot of us are in the same boat.  I know that continuously checking back here isn't going to bring me an email from OnPeak any faster but somehow it helps me feel  better.  Shared anxiety is better than solo anxiety  :D

Checking and constantly obsessing over how I filled it out, did I do it wrong, etc. Which, after thinking about it, I really screwed up by picking any non downtown hotels when I was in the form at 09:00:20. In case I picked 6 DT hotels that are filled up, I basically ensured I won’t get any other DT hotel by means of “closest to convention”.

I don’t know why I did that when I didn’t do it last year.

I guess I’ll rewatch the new episode of Game of Thrones tomorrow to pass the time and keep my mind off of the results. But that’s only an hour!! Maybe I’ll start from the beginning 🤔

Anyways, good luck to everyone tomorrow!

If you really got in at the 20 second mark, I don't think you have anything to be nervous about.
I will be shocked if you don't get your number one choice with that timestamp.
Good luck.

What worries me, is that last year at 9am sharp, my running man went straight to the end like a bullet (like you didn’t even see him/her 😁) and got in the moment the waiting room closed.

The closest hotel I got was a non downtown hotel. I eventually got the Wyndham, by luck when I randomly checked for closer hotels.

Does anyone know the confirmation email arrival times over the past few years (since OnPeak took over)?  Last year they arrived from about 8:30-10am, but what about previous years?

In 2017, mine came at 9:06 PST. In 2016, it came at 9:25.  Both were for the Hilton Bayfront.

For my OP timestamp:

2016: 9:41am Pacific - Hilton Bayfront

I cannot find my 2017 or 2018 one (I think I got waitlisted in 2018 in which that one came like two weeks later and isn't what you're looking for.) I'll keep looking for my 2017 one, but I think it might have been to a now defunct e-mail address now that I think about it (school one, oops.)

At one time they were, but as we've noted, OnPeak is consistently inconsistent, so it wouldn't surprise me at all if they find some new order to send out emails, like by timestamp, or by reverse alphabetical order, by hotel distance, or by number of blood sacrifices made (what, you didn't see that field in the form?). Heck, they may even decide to send them out Wednesday even though they said Tuesday. Nothing they do would surprise me.
