No problem! And yes, 10 AM PDT (or whatever time California is on) it looks like.It looks like a straight shot from the convention center (it's literally about a 3 mile straight line): 12 minutes by car, about 40 by bus and about an hour walking are the estimates I'm getting from Google Maps.I think I found the Ticketmaster link:You are not allowed to view links. Just to clarify, I think you're confusing Balboa Theater with some place in Balboa Park? As Jim Watari pointed out, the Balboa Theater is on the northeast corner of Horton Plaza at 4th and E so it's just a little over half a mile from the Convention Center. Even with all the people and cars and sore SDCC feet, it shouldn't take most folks more than 20-30 minutes to shuffle up there or, you could just take one of the SDCC shuttles to the Westin @ Horton Plaza and walk 4-5 minutes to the theater.
I snoozed on this :[ and people are reselling them for 99 lol. If anyone changes their mind and doesn't want their tickets(fat chance lol) message me! lol
I still see seats available at the website You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
Thank you!! I went originally on ticketmaster directly and it said it was sold out. Then I went through the Balboa Theater website and it worked.
How far in advance do you think guests will be announced? (Or at least rumored with some likeliness?) I managed to snag a good seat, but with so much else going on, if the guest doesn't interest me I may pass. Last year I went to a comedy show Thursday night and it just killed me -- I did not have the energy after a day at the convention. Nerdist, though, is tempting -- I had a great time at the Matt Smith/Karen Gillan Nerdist in 2011(?).
I'd absolutely love to go - I just can't afford this year. Very tight budget for SDCC2013...You let The Man get you down, The Man wins - I say, Damn The Man."I can't lie to you about your chances, but... you have my sympathies."
