I checked the outsidecomiccon.com website and I was wondering if anyone has attended the video games live event and how was it? I'm wondering if it is something my 15yr old daughter would enjoy?

I also like Crazy4ComicCon:
http://crazy4comiccon.wordpress.com/

His blog was very helpful to me a couple years ago.....honestly though I found a post here on this forum a couple days ago where someone made a list of useful things to bring w/ links to them on Amazon and it was amazing. I wish I could find it again.

I too am a big fan of Tony's Crazy for Comic-Con site. We've chatted a bit from time to time. I have a little piece of the pie myself at Comics Grinder: http://comicsgrinder.com/

Comics Grinder is a quirky niche blog, that's how I look at it. If there's a subject I'm ready and willing to focus on, I will give it my all. As a comics creator myself, I can give you a solid take on any comic, whatever the genre, subject, etc. I'm at the point where I can do this indefinitely and love it. I wouldn't mind a few upgrades, especially with my heading out to Comic-Con. That would definitely help! So, I started a GoFundMe campaign that you can check out here: http://www.gofundme.com/comics-grinder

I have a good handle on the creative end of things. I'm still feeling my way on the promotion and marketing side of things. I welcome your feedback. If you're interested in touching base, commenting on Comic-Con, suggestions, tips, contributing, supporting my campaign, whatever you like, I welcome your comments. I'm also considering providing some free swag.

SDCCBlog is great at answering questions on Twitter too.  Never have to wait long for a response and they know their stuff.

Here are a few websites I use regularly. The first one is my favorite. They link to the exclusives in an easily understandable manner. The WB updates their site usually closer to the con.

1. http://awesometoyblog.com/
2. http://comiccon.thewb.com/
3. http://comiccon.tips/

Please excuse another bump.
I was asked to point a new player to some useful links and this thread does just that.

Dont forget, anyone that finds other useful Epic links can post them here and Ill add them to the list.

Cheers,
Steve.

Does anyone know if the Comic-con app for 2018 is accessible yet? I have it installed on my phone, but what I click on Comic-con2018 it just keeps saying "coming soon - Please check back later" - with only a week to go, you would think that it would ready by now.

It typically doesn't update until the full schedule is released. With the Anime and other stuff being added over the past couple of days, I am sure it will update at any time now.

The App has finally updated for 2018 - but I can't figure out how to put "My Schedule" on it - it only shows the entire schedule, which is a lot to scroll through. I checked out the iCal instructions page on the comic-con website, but it doesn't have an actual step-by-step of how to use it - just lists of a couple of links that don't put the info on the Mobile App. I set up my sched using my desktop and would like to transfer the info to the mobile app.

It took me a long time to figure it out. It's not so intuitive for some reason this year. If you've already gone through favorites on the desktop version, go to the "my favorites" tab on the app, and in the lower left hand corner, tap "sync", and it should take you to log in to your account.

I hope this helps!
