Pardon me if this is a silly question - but I tried to dig around the forums to see and probably just missed it. But! If you wanted to trade/give away your tickets to someone, how does that actually work? The way I read it is that the actual ticket holder needs to get a physical ticket AND a wristband. Do they just hand you both and you go on your merry way? Or is it like the Hall H line where they make you put the wristband on your wrist in front of them? The wristband part is what is stumping me.
They won't just hand you the wristband. You need to be with the ticket holder to get the ticket and they (Conan ticket people) will put the wristband on you
Thanks for the response DragonJuls! Soooo then how does trading/giving away work if the wristband is on your wrist? How would I give that to someone else I'm giving my tickets to?
My group just got two sets of 4 for Wednesday and there are only 4 of us to go. Beyond lucky! Beyond surprised! That does leave us 4 extra seats. I never had the need to trade these tickets before and do not know how that would work since they are name specific? Does anyone know? Does the person on the reservation need to be there? We are wanting to see if we get anything else, but I guess would be open to trade Wednesday for a different day or something equally cool if its possible.
They will have to be in line with you to get the wristband.
The person whose name is on the reservation has to pick up the tickets, but based on my experience last year, they don't have to have the wristband put on them. So in my case: I won two tickets but wanted to give them to Person A and Person B. I still had to wait in line to pick up the tickets, but during the check-in process, I just pointed to Person A and Person B and the wristbands were put on them. I forget if the wristbands were put on by the people sitting at the tables handing out the tickets or the staffer standing between the tables and the box office exit. I think it was the latter.
