Would love to get a bag this year of something I'm actually a fan of. First time I got Vampire Diaries and gave it to my friend back home. Last year I got the Justice League one and the only offer I got to trade was for a Vampire Diaries one haha. Hope they release the designs soon

LOL on the Vampire Diaries offer. I am surprised that hasn't happened to me. First year-we both got Clash of the Titans-no one I talked to wanted to trade. Second year-we both got Vampire Diaries-didn't take the time to try and trade. (we picked up badges at T&C the first 2 years-they always seemed to herd DH and I to the same table, so DH and I got the same one-pretty frustrating!) Third year-got Supernatural-traded for Man of Steel (so happy!); DH got Arrow (he was ecstatic!). Last year-I got BBT (finally!) and DH got Teen Titans Go (he was pretty happy).
No real point to my post-just passing time until they announce this years **taps foot impatiently**

I do hope the bags are smaller again this year like in 2013.  I got poked considerably less with them last year.

I loved the backpacks. I would wear my own backpack, then the WB bag over it with the poster tube inside. It actually helped me gauge my "turtle shell" because I could see it over my shoulder so I knew how much of a wide load I was dealing with.

Yeah, the backpack bags last year were good. I used them instead of my own backpack b/c they didnt stick out as far from my back, held more without crushing anything and were great for putting a poster tube in them.

The past 2 years I've gotten Big Bang theory bags. I don't even watch the show! Luck of the draw.

We collected our badges later last year (I think after lunch time on Thursday?) and literally walked straight through. The lovely girls on bag duty were so bored, they insisted we choose our own bags. Score! Supernatural for me, Big Bang Theory for the flatmate. Though I was hoping she'd choose Arrow so I could steal it. Ha! Pretty sure we won't get the same reception at Town & Country  ;)

Last year Town and Country they were just holding up bags and you could walk over and grab whichever one you wanted.

You're lucky.  I've asked once or twice if I could pick the one I wanted and the volunteers have usually said something like "Absolutely not!" in a rude tone.

I don't mind them saying no, but they could have been polite about it.  I'm always nice in how i ask.

I never get the bag I want either...it was not after much groveling and pleading I was able to trade my bag for a Fringe bag.  It was lucky too because I was able to get the whole cast to sign the bag after their panel.

Sweet! No doubt I'll get overwhelmed and just grab the first one I see, but I'll try to have a top three in mind. Cheers! :)

I felt really lucky. From what we'd read on here and on other sites, it seemed like getting the bag you wanted usually happened through a trade or a serious stroke of luck.

It's so strange when people take an attitude like that. I feel like they'd adopt an attitude for the nasties, but be quite relieved to be dealing with nice people (at least, that was usually me in retail).

It was early (IIRC) and there was no line to pick up badges.
