Looks like Hallmark and Tokidoki are in...first year at ECCC for both. Of course, Funko is returning. FYE too.

Awesome! Many of the great exhibitors from prior years will be back as well! It's nice to see the list of 'big name' exhibitors slowly expanding every year.

Details to enter the Funko lottery for ECCC have been announced.

You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Short version: You can enter the lottery on February 5 and will be notified by February 23. Buying sessions will be at 10 am and 1 pm each day. The booth will open to anyone at 3 pm to sell whatever remains of the day's allocation. Tickets to enter the Funko line are non-transferrable and ID and tickets will be checked. Press, pros and general attendees can enter the lottery.

Since it’s Hallmark’s first year at ECCC we don’t know for certain whether or not there will be exclusives, or if they will just be repeating exclusives from other cons. Regardless, I would expect them to be difficult to obtain, but not SDCC-level difficult.

ECCC mentioned on FB (in response to comments about how lackluster this year’s guest lineup is) that there are a couple more guests in the works. Looking at the schedule, there are still spaces in the main room Friday at 2:30 and 5, and Saturday at 4:30...and before noon. Thursday is pretty much wide open too, but not likely that they’ll stack that day.

I can only guess how they budget for cons, as to paying for any celeb, famous people, or other to attend the con at time. then gotta check who can attend and when to plan out the scheduling and all. but guess most traffic is on weekend compared to during week so they try have anyone be at con as many days possible.

They had the same thing last year, where the main stage schedule had a lot of holes, and then they filled it in with some good stuff. I sat in the Main Stage room all day Saturday, and there was only one panel that did not interest me.
