If i'm reading this correctly, there is a very real possibility of NYCC being effected by Hurricane Matthew on Sunday.
Please be prepared for the possibility of wind and rain on Sunday.

Damn.
Any tips on keeping swag, exclusives and purchases dry?

Some heavy rain is possible here on Saturday afternoon and night. Too early to know for sure.

At this point, anything can happen.
My city on the coast of Long Island got hit hard by Sandy, but there wasn't really much rain. Wind and 4-6 foot storm surge, but no rain.
Looking at long-term forecasts on Weather.com is little help with Hurricanes or Tropical Storms. They don't really account for them. NOAA updates their forecast maps every few hours, though.

Matthew's track may be shifting southward with just some showers with a cold front this weekend. Models this afternoon and evening, have trended flatter with a trough that would of pulled Matthew further north up the coast. Will see if the trend continues tomorrow.

I bought new rain pants for standing in the MSG line, so I'm sort of hoping for at least some rain. I could do without the hurricane winds and coastal destruction.

Here in the southeast, over half a million people have been told to evacuate. They are going to shut off water and sewer service to areas that have mandatory evacuation areas in northeast Florida after 8pm tonight, and keep them off until after the storm when they can determine when they can safely be restored. Several local hospitals have been evacuated. This is serious. I have never been through anything remotely like this since I moved down here. Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts.

Take an umbrella or raincoat this morning. Rain should taper in NYC this afternoon.:
