All I know, is he is releasing his new album a week before SDCC.. Not sure how it will tie in, but Ive been to one of his shows, and it was the best concert ever. He really gets into his sets!

Weird Al concerts are a BLAST. He does lots of costume changes and has funny videos on big screens to occupy you during the changes that will tie into the next song. Highly entertaining show.

Saw him a couple years ago in Phoenix. If I can work this into my schedule and get tickets, I am definitely going!

I'm teaching a comic book course and my students had never heard of him; they're really young.  I played Eat It for them and they're hooked.  :)

I would definitely like to hear him sing. I really liked the song he sang on the Simpsons

I remember my dad and I walking around on the floor and we saw him perusing comics. I looked at him and thought, "Nah...It can't be!"

Then I looked at the badge and realized it was Al Yankovic. :) It was definitely a holy crap moment between me and my father, who knew who Wierd Al is.

I would like to take this moment to state that I spent both my 14th and 16th birthdays at Weird Al concerts and I have no regrets.  While my peers were seeing pop concerts, I was seeing Weird Al.  I think I saw him like 7-8 times total between 12-18.  Haven't seen him since then though.  Almost a decade!  Doubt I'll have time though with all the craziness I already have planned.

One more thing to the to-do list.

I've been checking his webpage multiple times a day, and it still has the same message.

Keep in mind that this does not say that he will be giving a concert, only that he will be there. It could be anything. Keep in mind that this summer marks the 25th anniversary of the release of UHF. It could even be related to that.

(If you're curious, the link just goes to CCI's web page.)
