My daughter has been eagerly anticipating the new Pacific Rim movie for quite a while.  We saw the trailer today and she oohed and ahhed throughout, and grabbed my arm and said "Wow, it looks AWFUL!!  I can't wait to see it!"   :o

The trailer did nothing for me. It's now heading into Transformers territory. Not a good thing in my book

This new trailer seemed to have a lot of production value, much more polished, and seemed more effects-laden than the prior movie.  Compared to the first, that one looked almost "gritty", if that's a word.  All good in my book tho.  To [member=1130]FBS[/member]' point, if this goes down the Transformers path...that would so suck.

I can understand about the Transformers viewpoint and I will admit to have not watched the last few.

I liked the teaser trailer and this trailer quite a bit.

Liked the first one and got the dvd with extras by chance. first one was kinda like they was training on how to run the machines, now they are past that training and in ur face ready to battle with all they know and new machines and gear for the sequel.
