Also sitting this one out. I don't have enough time to do everything I want as it is! But I am jealous of those of you who have the energy for this!

Come on. 3 miles is easy, at the most maybe 45 minutes out  of your day. When you're done you get the post run high. Don't be scared.

Three miles in 45 minutes.  Hm.

On behalf of my fellow forum couch potatoes, I would like to state the following: "Yeah, that's probably not happening in 45 minutes."  Forty-five minutes is how long it would take for me to get out of bed in the morning during the week of con, and that's an underestimated guess.  Ha ha.

I'm sure it's doable, today I did 2 miles on the treadmill and it took 45 minutes, but I was just walking.  While I do side with the couch potatoes in that I would not want to participate in this during SDCC, I give props to those who do!

It's not the running or the walking, it's the 45-75 minutes, honestly!

Just giving everyone a hard time. I don't feel like it either, but I have to now to save face. At least it won't be pushing a double jogging stroller like it normally is.

I can cheer people on at the finish line.  I'll be the one eating some sort of deep fried fast food wrapped in bacon.

 Bacon , Bacon, Bacon
The more things change, the more they stay the same

Hoban 'Wash' Washburn: It's okay, I'm a leaf on the wind!
Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: What does that mean?

Respect to anyone who manages to do the run! I wish I was one with enough discipline or mind power to do it. It'd be great to combat fatigue from the con but I know I'll just melt into my bed instead. But who knows! My friend might drag me out to it (she's one of those with endless optimism and energy).

Bacon could be a motivator though...run to get fattening food :D

I guess maybe Thursday early evening somewhere near shoreline village or something like that. Go for a water front stroll.

Hi BustAGroove, glad you'll be joining us for the run. As Yzrfan says it's looking like a Thursday evening run either along the waterfront or into Balboa Park.  I'm curious, for those familiar with the craziness of SD during Comic Con, would the waterfront be packed to the point of annoyance for a run?

I was planning to nail down the specifics next week so please, if anyone planning to join has suggestion let them fly!

And while I know it seems cray cray to be trying to squeeze in a run during such a busy time, it's pretty surprising how energizing a little exercise can be. Or maybe that's the coffee I drink after.
