Wow, that's awesome! Had you already received the email notification, did you know that it was on its way? Any plans to get the other Pin, to complete the collection?
No email notification and no tracking number in MemberID.  USPS Informed Delivery let me know the package was on it's way.  It was just a presumption that it was an SDCC badge.
Hopefully they will have the extra pins in Sails.

Come on SDCC! Can’t you at least be more original and do something different than the Walking Dead? Not everyone is a fan of the show...

I'm super tired of Walking Dead too, but I'm pretty sure they pay to put their picture on the badges. It may be that no one else is offering to pay for that.

That is interesting. Did you find that information anywhere? I’d find it hard to believe that nobody else would be willing to pay for that. I would love a Bobs Burgers badge! Haha

I'm not sure if they've documented it anywhere, but since it essentially just an empty advertising/sponsorship spot I couldn't imagine the process being anything other than who wants to pay the most. In this case, it feels entering a bidding war with AMC may be a futile effort.

I'm growing weary of Walking Dead badges as well, but at least this year's promo looks a little cooler than last years Emo Rick B&W Shot!

Looks like Amazon is going to have a strong presence at the con, if the box advertising is anything to go by.  No advertising for Good Omens yet, though.  I assume that means it's too early for them to bring anything.

Also  :'( at TWD badges AGAIN

Yeah, for years now, NYCC and SDCC badges have been all walking dead. Like you said though, I doubt anyone wants to match what AMC is paying for that. It has to one of the most expensive, if not the most, ad spaces at the con.

Other than when they had Dexter lanyards, I can’t remember a time when SDCC had lanyards, bags, or badges of TV Shows or Movies my wife and I actually watch.  So we’re just used to having SDCC stuff we don’t really care about.

Ok, now I want to figure out why they want to spend so much on badge ad space for The Walking Dead?  Could it be any more popular, or talked about?   ::)  'Cause like I said...I am putting Hello Kitty faces on mine.

It is all about marketing and promoting the show.  I am sure AMC/ TWD got the space by sponsoring to cover the cost of the badges either through a long term agreement or the studio has the $$$$ available.

Yeah, I haven't gotten an email but I signed up for informed delivery today and saw that a package is awaiting shipping (no details, but I'm not expecting anything from Amazon).
