Me too. I thought the weekend would be torture but I has lots going on and I didn't think about it that much.

It's not like I don't have things to do at work, but those things are boring so my brain apparently feels free to wander off and worry about hotels.

This. I'm practically surrounded by stacks of paper at work, yet I keep coming back here. LOL

Likewise.

There were so many things over the weekend that kept my mind busy, and fortunately none of it was work.

The were was Episode IX teaser that dropped on Friday and the NBA playoffs and Game of Thrones refresher binge watching to get ready for season eight.

I think a lot of us are in the same boat.  I know that continuously checking back here isn't going to bring me an email from OnPeak any faster but somehow it helps me feel  better.  Shared anxiety is better than solo anxiety  :D

Last time my request was the first in for our group, so it was easier to just sit and wait for an email to come in.  This time my friend got in first, so now not only do I have to wait for the email, I have to wait for him to see it and send it to the rest of us ;D

I'm the opposite.  Usually I'm the last in so I don't expect to ever get an email.  This time I'm first and I feel a stupid amount of pressure to be on top of things.  oh god no

It's just the suspense that's killing me a little. Based on how long it took me to get out of the waiting room I actually don't think I'll even get an email tomorrow, but even so, I really just need to know.

I'm so busy at work that occasionally do I think about, but when I do it's torture.

I'm on vacation the rest of the week, so I'm trying to get through my huge list of things that need to be done. Not much time for thinking about things other than work.

However, I will be a nervous wreck the first day of my vacation, so I guess that equals out.

Normally, I'm the first one in and I'm attached to my phone and email so I know almost instantly. Now it's my friend who was first in and she tends to go mia often........

Hi all,

I requested 6 downtown hotels in order of the affordable room rates. I also request just two Mission Valley hotels. I was finished by 9:04 am. If I'm at least lucky to get a Mission Valley room, how much of a burden/inconvenience is it to get to the convention center? This will be my first time attending. Thanks.

Depending how far it is to walk to a trolley stop, you might be better off taking the trolley than the comic-con shuttle. I looked at some of those estimated times and some are like 40 mins to go 8 miles. The trolley is slow, but it's not that slow.

I was 100% okay waiting until I got to work and know it is killing me!

At least you aren't taking a 4 hour exam during the results lol

+1. Last year I stayed in Little Italy and every time the trolley took less than 10 minutes. For comparison, I took the shuttle once and it literally took 40 minutes to get to the convention center. That may have been an unusually slow bus ride, but it scared me off from taking the shuttles again.

At least this year there is no travel for me and I am in the same time zone, so no sleepless nights before a 3am departure and a reliable internet connection to take care of things.
