We stayed at the Omni and I just had the usual charges (taxes). We stayed at the Hard Rock last year and price was a little higher than anticipated and was told to take it up CCI. Meh I payed it and this year I had no problem with the Omni.

[member=842]TardisMom[/member], did you have 2 double beds for 4 people at Mgh? I had this for my reservation and originally when showing up at world of Hyatt member the rate was $340. When on peak sent the email saying reservationsomething transferred over I saw rate as $345. Luckily when I checked in I print screen with dates and times and they changed it back to the $340 rate.

Yes, 2 double beds for 4 people.  The total in my confirmation email from OnPeak on April 9th was $2070 for 6 nights, which is $345/night.  That's strange you had a slightly lower rate.  Glad you had your screenshot!  Every penny saved helps  :)

I am waiting for all of my Hilton points to be added to my account from this years 7 day stay with hopes I can use the points to either pay for a book end day next year or at least use points and cash for discounted rates for my book-end days.
A straight line may be the shortest distance between two points, but it is by no means the most interesting”

We stayed at the Hilton Bayfront for 3 nights. When we checked out, our bill was $512.71  for the one night(the other 2 nights were already paid to OnPeak) plus some food & parking.
When I checked my Amex activity I saw the $512 charge plus a separate charge for $572.63 from the Hilton Bayfront. When I called the Bayfront accounting department I was told the $572 was a no show charge!
Since I had changed the name on the reservation from my name to my husbands name(the Hilton Honors account is in his name but I originally made the reservation in my name with my credit card) they somehow screwed things up,thus the charge! They said they would fix it. Just a heads up to everybody, though... double check your credit card charges! :o

I'm still working with Hard Rock. They have credited the erroneous minibar charge, but there is another charge for almost $200 on my credit card bill that they can't tie to my reservation so they don't know where it came from.

Our billing was way off at the Hilton too.  Our friends didn’t even get charged for their room. And then we were charged an extra $300 for a bar bill we didn’t have.

No charge for their room at all?  Oh boy, wouldn't that be nice if the hotel 'gifted' them their hotel stay!!  And...a $300 bill for drinks you didn't even get to enjoy?  Ouches...many ouches!!!

We had a 9 night stay at the hotel (plus another few nights at another hotel) and I was thinking that still wouldn't have enough points for a free night. BUT I looked it up this morning and it actually was!  :o Not sure if we'll use it for our SDCC trip next year, but it won't go to waste!

Lots of fun issues this year I guess. I'm having a big problem with the MGH. They still have not charged my card!! I called them on Monday to find out what was taking so long and they said it was declined. No one bothered to get in touch with me, of course. So, I called my bank because I was using a new credit card and even though it worked for airfare I bought since SDCC I thought I'd check. Bank says no problem, the card is fine and they don't see any declines on it anyway. Just the initial hold approval amount from check in. I called MGH back. I offered another card (though I really want the sign up bonus on this one! hah) I was told, no, we'll get it to work. That was Monday. It is now Thursday. Still not charged. I did get a new bill which looked like an attempt to start over with my charges.

I'm too busy at work with a big event the next few days to be calling them. I guess it'll be annoying phone calls.

What is more concerning is the lack of communication. If I hadn't called them Monday what would they have done? I'm a Hyatt rewards member. They have my contact info. My earned points did get into my account. The lack of communication is really p***ing me off. I've stayed with them several years now, but this one thing is totally turning me off to staying with them again.

Edited to add: finally! This got charged this afternoon

This is not a commercial. I use the Hilton Amex and get 12x points. I got over 64,000 points for my nights at HBF (I didn’t get the same kind of points for my 2 nights paid through OnPeak).

Could that be a food court purchase?

Yeah. Called the bank to ask about the transaction. It was made 3 weeks prior and just took a while to process, I guess.
