The one thing we keep forgetting is the blood drive!! You don't have to be a badge holder in order to give blood AND you still get your swag bag!! Helpful hint, donate on Thursday or Friday if you want the swag. You will still get stuff on Sat and Sun, but usually not as much. Donating is awesome IF you can.
Has anyone ever gone to this and what did they think?
And make an appointment for your donation time, it helps. Although, you can do "walk in" but sometimes there is a wait.
I didn't manage to go but here's some details about last year's Enchantment Under the SDCC party from the event's website: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login seems like fun- free shirts and amazing prizes especially the Hasbro Toy Shop fast-pass and 1-Day passes to SDCC. Hope it helps.
I went last year and they were not ready for the crowd they got. It was disorganized and they were overwhelmed. I suspect this year it willbe better. They had cool giveaways, but good luck trying to get one of the raffle tickets for the big stuff or a swag bag either. The people were pretty ruthless as they tend to be around free stuff. I sat at a table drank a beer and watched people go bananas and left. Pushing and shoving for freebies in an overcrowded bar was not my thing. Now that they have lived through the first one, it will probably be much better this year. Sent from my VS870 4G using Tapatalk
Thanks for the reviews, doesn't really seem like my thing. I've always been curious though.

@__@! They also included the Sunday forum gathering that Transmute's coordinating.
Wow, I've gone viral! Just call me the ultimate event planner. ;DActually though, this could bring more people to the board, so IMHO that's a good thing.
Your meetups are also listed on the sdccblog events calendar! yay more exposure for FoCCI! Good job TJ! You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
Interesting... When I click on the event description for the Sunday night get-together, it's essentially a summary of my opening post in the meetup thread. Wonder if we have people here who write for SDCC Blog? Or are they lurkers? Hmmm...
