Just as an FYI. This is not near the convention center. You need to take the E downtown to Canal St.

You can also take the A and the C. According to the MTA Weekend Oct. 6-9, the A C E (blue circle) trains do not have any scheduled maintenance this weekend. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login You can also use the Weekender map to help you navigate around NYC during the weekends because a lot of maintenance happens then that could cause certain trains to not run, etc.

I have to say, this was terrible. They took 20 minutes to let everyone in and you had to wait in another line just to shop. And the sets weren’t really all that interactive

What time did you go? We went a little before 4pm on Friday, and there was no line, we were able to go right in.

I went Saturday and got there a little earlier than their 12pm open time. There was a short line and once they opened, it was fairly easy to get inside. They said they put priority for those who purchased the free tickets than walk-ups. I agree that there was not much animating. But I got free ice cream too and got to shop which is really BoxLunch.com (they said they have a store in the Staten Island Mall).
