The History of IDW Publishing exhibit walks guests through IDW’s early days to its current position as one of the largest comic book publishers in the Americas. Visitors will learn about IDW’s very first published art book with the then up-and-coming illustrator Ashley Wood and their taking a chance on two unknown creators and releasing the acclaimed comic 30 Days of Night all the way through to IDW’s current position as a television production company and tabletop game publisher.

We are incredibly proud of Geppi's Entertainment Museum (GEM) and the countless families, tour groups, and individuals who have visited us and seen the impact of comics and pop culture on the world around us. The work done to promote the Stephen A. Geppi Collection by GEM staff, lenders, and members has allowed us to reach this point. The Museum will close to the public on June 3rd, and we will begin transferring the exhibits to the Library of Congress with the help of their team of conservation experts. The Collection will go on display this Summer at the Library of Congress’ Jefferson Building, where it can be seen by millions of visitors. Thank you for your support, and we look forward to sharing more information with you soon! See the statement on our FaceBook page HERE!
