Post by: Transmute Jun on July 30, 2014, 07:39:22 AM
A week later and con is turning into a blur in my head. Let's get this info down before we all forget. Which offsites required badges and which didn't?

I will edit this post and add to the list as people post info.

Required Badge

Game of Thrones offsite
X-Box Lounge
Pixels
Community

Badge Not Required

PetCo Interactive Zone
Assassin's Creed obstacle course
Walking Dead BBQ
Simpsons Zone
Geek & Sundry
Nerd HQ
Gotham zip line
Nintendo Lounge
Hunger Games exhibit
Vikings

Gotham Zip Line also didn't require a badge.

If you want to include gaming, Xbox required badges but Nintendo did not.

The Hunger Games exhibit at the Hard Rock did not require a badge. I didn't go to the Pixels arcade nearby, but I believe that was badge-free, as well.

Thanks for the info! And yes, I would like to include all offsites, including gaming lounges.

I think pixels was supposed to be badge holders only but wasn't enforced same with GOT.

You make a good point:GoT had signs outside saying a badge was required, but I don't recall anyone checking them.

Still, I would count it as 'badge required'. I will change the status of Pixels.

XBox lounge was but there was a community event where they just checked my ID and gave me a wristband.
