Of course, that’s understood. I just said hospitality because that was the current subject matter.

Oh Gotcha, I can't imagine how stressful it is to be the people checking us in.  I was a server though, so I know they are trying to do there best with so many factors out of their control.

I’ve been front desk on and off for 10 years. Events can be absolute hell and front desk would always catch the brunt of the ire

I know we’re veering slightly off topic here, but yeah. I currently work customer service in an extremely stressful industry (not hospitality) and it’s put a lot of other industries into perspective.  I’ve been working customer service in general since I was 16, but now helping customers who are sick, dying, and/or broke, I find it hard to get upset about something like a room not being ready for early check in or a meal taking a little longer to cook in a crowded restaurant. It’s really changed my outlook lol.

Anyway sorry for off topic

Ohhhhhhh, can I be knighted too? I'll start practicing my flirting skills now, because I am DEFINITELY out of practice.  ;)

We might need to put up a thread looking for a volunteer to teach us how to flirt to get better rooms.

uhhh....

I saw 'The Omni San Diego Hotel' on the Early Bird site.  I couldn't believe my eyes.  I actually tried to book, but I got an error.  I called On Peak, and they confirmed it was an error.

 ??? ??? >:(

I'm not having any luck posting the screen grab in the forum.  I did create an account in imgur, and I'm posting the link here.

I have the screen grab, but I don't know how to post it on the forum.

Host on an outside image host and then use the "insert image" option up above to hyperlink to the image.

Actually it's a screen grab of me trying to make the reservation, but I don't quite understand your instructions.

Thanks

So you use an outside image hosting like tinypic or imgur to upload your picture off site.  I'm going to use my own website as an example since I can hotlink to my own URL easily.

Once it's uploaded, you take the direct URL, click the image option up above, like so:

Once you click that, you simply insert the URL between the brackets like so:

And then we can see your images.

The real takeaway here is that I need a job as a hotel desk clerk so I can have dozens of con goers flirt with me.
