« on: January 07, 2019, 09:04:15 PM »

Be Among the First to See Her Story Take Flight

Join your fellow MARVEL fans on Thursday, March 7 at 6pm for Marvel Studios' CAPTAIN MARVEL Opening Night Fan Event! You'll be one of the first to see this epic adventure and receive a collectible coin, cameo popcorn and exclusive introduction content before the movie.

Anyone else going?  I've got a ticket to the Mission Valley in San Diego showing on thursday. I usually go to movies on Friday afternoon tho- #conflicted There's still seats available

I’m going! I bought my ticket last night, and there weren’t many empty seats left when I purchased it. I don’t think it’s the 3D showing of the movie, but I don’t really care about that too much.

I am skipping and just seeing it in the Dolby theater.  I am sure the coin is cool and I would love one but they cost of the ticket is a lot higher and my A-list is excluded from it.  I just couldn't justify the cost for a coin.

Edit:  Actually I looked at the cost and it's only $2 more than the regular.  100% worth it if you aren't on the AMC A-List.

I'll be at the one in Redwood City, it's $15 and still some seats available.

My local AMC (within walking distance) isn’t holding the fan event.   Don’t really need a coin when I already have a bit of Captain Marvel merch (Dorbz bundle, Marvel Legends figure).

I believe Alamo Drafthouse is offering drinking glasses but the Los Angeles location won’t be open yet when CM premieres.

I went up to customer service after the fan event was started and politely asked if I could get one of the coins.  I let them know I was doing the regular showing and said I completely understand if you say no.  She asked to see my ticket and then gave me a coin :)
