The more things change, the more they stay the same

Hoban 'Wash' Washburn: It's okay, I'm a leaf on the wind!
Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: What does that mean?

I became so smitten with "Hamilton" after seeing it in San Diego a few years ago.  I obviously knew of its acclaim and prestige before seeing it and had heard some of the songs prior, but when it comes to musicals I'm a "I have to take it all in to truly appreciate it" type of fan: the music w/out the visual doesn't click with me too well (notable exception = West Side Story, which I fell in love with long before seeing the movie and then musical).  But just hearing GroffSauce as King George doing the pre-show introduction makes me smile like a giddy schoolgirl!!  I really can't wait to see this, but I wonder if I'm already kinda annoyed with the camera angle edits (maybe in a perfect world, for me, this would be released with an 'extra' that has just an up-top camera angle so one can take in the stage lights, overall staging, etc. at once rather than just specific closeups the director deemed most important - I love to study the 'fringes' of a scene/musical to take everything in).
