Hmmm...can we trust them at all if they screw up the easy part like distance from the convention?

Of course not. We can't trust them on anything, but unfortunately they're the only option unless you have $$$.

So, what up with the guild hotel? is it gonna sit there forever? is it the price? something else? what do you guys think?
I think its that they just opened and put up 500 rooms a month before the convention when most people already have rooms...

And they're all single beds.

And they're all single beds.

And they are indeed kind of pricy compared to other hotels in that area (Sofia, Bristol, Westin) like OP mentioned.

Sorry, I mis-remembered the numbers.  162 rooms.  That's still quiet a few to add.

That's pretty close to a 1:1 ratio for Rooms at the Guild:CCI Charity Auction Badges for sale. :P

I was thinking that the lack of hotel rooms was something keeping people from up-bidding the SDCC badges up for auction...and then this new hotel popped up. Certainly adds a new wrinkle and a new possibility for attending.

The Sofia Hotel, 1 bed all days available (4 on some days so get them while they are hot). One of the cheaper options as well.
