Just remember to dress the part if you attend! If you're wearing it at the Con you shouldn't wear it at the party!

I'll be there for a little while at least. No idea what I'll wear yet.

Does anyone know what happens to the VIP party access if they don't reach their funding goal?

I think Indigogo is different then Kickstarter in that they still get the money? I know I've already been charged for my perk. Normally with KS you aren't charged until it ends.

Yeah they charged mine too.  I would think since the party is happening either way and we did contribute, we would still get our invites.  Guess we'll see.

The party is happening no matter what. Here's from the FAQ:

What if I don't reach my funding goal?

If your campaign is set up as Flexible Funding, you will be able to keep the funds you raise, even if you don't meet your goal. If your campaign is set up as Fixed Funding, all contributions will be returned to your funders if you do not meet your goal. Flexible Funding campaigns that meet their goal are only charged 4% as our platform fee, whereas campaigns that do not meet their goal are charged 9%.

and from Breakneck:

This campaign will receive all of the funds contributed by Tue 16 Jul 11:59PM PT.

Sounds like they're set up as a flexible.

I am looking forward to this and stressing about it at the same time.  I was following your conversation with Mario on Twitter, and I'm afraid I'm going to be so self-conscious and stick out like a sore thumb.  I am not a skinny Hollywood type by any stretch of the imagination, but I can dress nice and that's all I can do I guess.  I'm sure the open bar will help ease my anxieties :)
