They don't clear the room between panels. If there's two panels you want to see in the same room, staying is a good option. They also usually have bathroom passes in case nature calls.

I've been to the Simpson panel a few times over the years. They are funny and definitely don't take the Con too seriously. Usually they have 1 or 2 clips from the upcoming season. Never any swag given away.  Future a panel has been good too.

All good advice above on ensuring you get in.  Once the schedule is posted it'll be easier to suggest a "get in line" time.
