It's Thursday VS Friday so far in the SDCC smackdown
The more things change, the more they stay the same

Hoban 'Wash' Washburn: It's okay, I'm a leaf on the wind!
Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: What does that mean?

You know, I find myself wishing that TWD and GoT would be on Thursday, because that's sounding like a much better day! Unlikely though, since we already have Dr. Who, Lionsgate, and probably Con Man and Marvel TV/AoS on that day.

Carlsbad High School's Drumline has been invited to perform at Comic-Con International: San Diego, which takes place July 9-12 at the San Diego Convention Center.
Peter Manzi, band director at Carlsbad High School announced Tuesday that on July 9, members of the CHS Drumline will join other area drummers in a special one-of-a-kind performance to introduce Lionsgate’s two fall film releases, “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2” and “The Last Witch Hunter.”
According to Manzi, the percussionists were invited by Route 66 Productions to participate in the sold-out panel discussion that will take place in Hall H at the San Diego Convention Center, which seats up to 6,500 fans.
The session will be moderated by Conan O'Brien and attended by cast members including such stars as Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Vin Diesel.
“We are extremely honored that Route 66 chose the CHS Drumline to be a part of this special event,” Manzi said. “The students are thrilled to have the opportunity to perform at such an exciting event.”
