When you do the deposit you can delete the extra room if you no longer want it.  If it is a downtown room, though, it would be nice to offer it on the Offers sheet and then do both deposits at the same time.  There is a little trash can on the screen for unwanted rooms.

I absolutely will - I just didnt know if I could split the rooms up. Thanks!

Well thats what I want to know - how would I keep one and give one away if its the same request?

In the hotel exchange forum, I created a walkthrough of both the single room process of deposits and the multi-room/multi-cards deposit process. You would just only assign one room to the other person, and then keep one to yourself!

I agree with TardisMom. If you lower it to 2 people, then you are much more likely to get a king room. Lower it to a triple and then (on average) it will work out, when there are some nights with fewer people and some with 4.

Dang, now I wish I added another name to make it 3 people  instead of 2.
oh please let me be successful on Monday!!

Thanks! And thanks especially to everyone who posts their information, it would be impossible to make any sense of anything without people sharing all of their experiences. This is the first time in a while that we've had what seems to be the same process 2 years in a row so tomorrow will be interesting to say the least.  Good luck to everyone waiting for their results!

I am up early this morning.  The sun is bringing a crisp new day, and new hope to all who are looking for a room!  Best to all on round 2.

Up early here, too. Filled the weekend wait with Greastest Showman and Black Panther. I am ready! 🤓

Good luck, guys! 🍀🤞

I hate to be the bearer of bad news. Last year I got in 10 after it started and didn't get anything. But I also only told them to put me in the six hotels I picked or disregard my request.

Oh no!  Definitely not in the superfun category of ways to spend the night. May your ankle mend quickly and well!
