I thought Salacious B. Crumb was a monkey lizard?

(This forum is the only place I get to say such things.)

dketoys The “rat” is out of the bag. Here is the press release:
DKE Toys Limited Edition Space Rat Action Figure Art Series Premieres at SDCC 2018.
11 artists interpret a classic toy favorite.
It took DKE Toys a long time to figure out what to do with a galactic sized pile of vintage Kenner Salacious Crumb action figures from the original toy line. Behold, the limited edition Space Rat Action Figure Art Series.
DKE Toys invited 11 artists to lend their skills to interpret our favorite Space Rat. Each artist created an original painting of the character for the packaging. Affixed to each card back is an authentic Kenner Salacious Crumb action figure from 1983. Each card back is signed and numbered by the participating artist out of 100. All 11 package styles will premiere at SDCC for $25 each. Or, deal alert, get all 11 different designs for $200. That’s like 3 free Space Rats. For those collectors wanting the completed series, figures numbered 1-20 will be available at the show as matching numbered sets.
SDCC runs July 18-22. Find DKE Toys in the corner booth #5045. Can’t make it to the show email [email protected]gmail.com to get on waitlist.
The participating SPACE RAT Artists are…

Possible upcoming exclusive news?

Quote
dketoys Jason Chalker (@manlyart) is done with the painting. We promise to reveal its purpose in the next few days. I do want to take the opportunity to say that there are far more artists in the “bootleg” resin art figure community that could be featured on this painting. So many deserve to be on here but it’s just not possible to feature everyone. There were some criteria that I will explain more about in a future post. I just want everyone to know that there will be more projects in the future. This is only the beginning. Keep up the good work, always step up your game, and be positive. We love you all!!!

dketoys Meet Stripewok! Each piece is hand sculpted by Leah Lester of Little Lazies (@littlelazies). No two are exactly the same but they are so close to one another that it's kind of hard to imagine that they aren't cast and she made 30 of them!!! The 2” figures are signed and numbered on the bottom of the figure and carded in a package she designed and are only $55. Don’t get them wet and don’t feed them after midnight. Can’t make it to the show please email [email protected] and get on the wait list.
