Maybe the contract hadn’t been worked out.

Hopefully more hotels in MV are getting added.  The initial list didn’t make my cut.  The Double Tree is definitly one of better ones due to its proximity to restaurants and it being the last stop on the purple route to the convention center.

Me too. At least if you weren't successful you had a real reason why, you weren't fast enough.
With the ever mysterious OnPeak process you really don't have a feeling of fairness in the results.

I see 'The Residence Inn Gaslamp' on the Early Bird link, but it's showing that it's sold out.

Does anyone know what that is about?

Another error by On-Peak?

Huh.  Interesting,  My guess is yes, it's another error.  Though Residence Inn is slightly less shocking than one of the adjacent hotels.  Still anything Gaslamp gets an eyebrow raise.

OnPeak get your stuff together y'all come on

If you go to the Early Bird sale & enter the dates 7/19-7/21 and sort by distance all the downtown hotels pop up but as “unavailable”.

If you don't sort by distance,  ALL the hotels show up as sold out.

Hoping this means for an earlier-than-normal hotel sale, but I think Exhibitor Hotels have been open since December so it may just an instance of some leftover variables not being properly hidden.

I am so SO bad at dates.  Do we have the past few years of sale dates on hand?  I'm sure they are in other threads somewhere but I also know that some of you all have it at the ready lmao.  I feel like the general consensus right now is that it'll be the first or second week of April, but I'm struggling to recall if this is early, late, or right about on time.  I think people are assuming it'll fall AFTER WonderCon, but not too long after.

YAS Beautiful. I knew someone would have this on hand much quicker than it'd take me to fumble around in old threads looking for dates.  Love you.

So April seems "normal."  I can see why people are fairly certain now.  I also don't think they'd do it before WonderCon.

Has the hotel sale ever taken place before the Early Bird Sale closes?
