How do you protect your autographed posters?
« on: September 20, 2018, 09:54:16 PM »
I have a few posters i got from the WB autograph signings, and i was wondering how you guys protect them after being signed?
i purchased those plastic sleeves in the exhibit floor, but was thinking long term protection. Or are those good enough?
Thanks

those are fine for long term storage but wouldn't they look really good in a frame on the wall?

Either put them in frames (They look goooooood) or buy very thick poster tubes and carefully roll them into those.

I keep all my SDCC posters in ITOYA art portfolios.  They come in many different sizes, are archival safe, and allow you to safely view your posters at anytime.

The WB posters that I have fit perfect in the 11x17 folio.

Do not use tubes for long term storage!
Paper has a memory to it and the longer it is rolled the harder it is to flatten.  Storing them flat in sleeves is the best bet if you can't frame and display.

I use the plastic sleeves for the con itself, and then when I get home I frame them.
